ThinkPad: T400 / T500 and newer T series Laptops.Recently Released Critical Drivers - Read Only.Recently Released Service Tips - Read Only. Can you please confirm that this is going to be addressed once and for all? I literally created this account to be able to post this question to this forum as this is turning into a big problem for us and it is giving staff bad impressions of the Lenovo brand. This was never an issue when we were using Dell laptops with their Dell Update application. It also generates a support ticket into IT and we're growing weary of seeing this problem. It is especially embarrassing if it happens during a call with a client. This generates frustration on the user side when this causes their calls to drop. Seemingly at random, Vantage will update drivers or pop up a prompt that they should restart or install a BIOS update.

This has caused issues with Executive Staff who are working remotely and on web calls all day long with their laptops. I have also tested this on my own system documenting the date/time and screenshot of my settings only to return about a month later to find that they have been re-enabled. When we roll these systems out, we make sure to turn off those options right before we hand the system over to the end user. I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to check to see if this issue has been resolved? I have around 40 ThinkPad E590 / T590 systems deployed and all of them are experiencing the issue with Lenovo Vantage re-enabling Automatic Updates on its own without user intervention.
